Last Updated: May 15, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Exyno ("we", "us", and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our platform. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
2. Consent to the Use of Cookies
In accordance with applicable data protection and electronic communications regulations (GDPR and relevant ePrivacy laws), prior consent is not required for the use of strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are essential for the technical operation of our platform and the security of your session. Since Exyno currently does not use any analytical or marketing cookies, no consent pop-up banner is displayed when visiting our platform.
3. Why do we use cookies?
We use first-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our platform to operate – we refer to these as "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies.
4. Types of cookies we use
A. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential to provide you with services available through our platform and to use some of its features, such as access to secure areas and authentication.

B. Preference and functional cookies
These cookies are used to enhance the performance and functionality of our platform but are non-essential to its use. However, without these cookies, certain functionality may become unavailable.

5. Third-party cookies
We use third-party services within the application that are essential for the technological operation of the platform:
- Firebase (Google): Used for secure login, identity management, and protection against unauthorized access to your account.
- Strava: When connecting your account, Strava may place cookies on your device to manage the OAuth authorization flow.
Note: Our application currently does not use any advertising or marketing tracking cookies from third parties.
6. How can I control cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. However, because our platform currently uses only cookies strictly necessary for the operation and security of the service, disabling them in your browser will prevent proper login and use of the application.
7. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please therefore re-visit this policy regularly to stay informed.
